TheLRoom Concept:
Due to Covid 19 we no longer have overnight stays
TheLRoom is a 21st Century organized developing national brand, by a group of inter-generational, ethnic, and gender diverse women realizing that women need occasional escape, relaxing mini breaks from everyday physical and mental stress. A new paradigm in the Bed & Breakfast Industry, we are coining the phrase “Every Woman Deserves A Mini Break!”
Dedicated to every woman who has ever been stressed, TheLRoom (the L stands for ladies) is the first bed and breakfast solely for women to come relax, feel safe and de-stress. TheLRoom guests are welcome to stay for a few hours, a day, or the entire week. Our goal is to help ensure every guest leaves us feeling refreshed, regenerated and rejuvenated. Although TheLRoom is for ladies over night stay only, men can attend some events where indicated. We value the men who care about their wives, girlfriends, mothers, sisters and daughters- men who would do anything to help the women in their lives relax.
TheLRoom guests will enjoy amenities such as clean and beautifully decorated rooms, a library with women centered books, indoor and out door meeting spaces and a gift shop. Healthy snacks, desserts, organic teas and coffee are provided by local women-owned businesses in the Triangle area. TheLRoom will also contract services such as massage, healthy eating coaching, meditation, yoga, acupuncture, Reiki, mindfulness training and personal chef services.
The First LRoom was near thriving; Downtown Durham, North Carolina. It was newly renovated 1920‘s home with three bedrooms located on West Geer Street, (Central Park District) Durham, NC a flourishing area within walking distance to farmers market, trendy restaurants, bars, popular nightclubs, Duke and North Carolina Central Universities. A perfect place to take a Mini Break, stay-cation or vacation. TheLRoom offers women: Due to gentrification we had to close in October 2016.
